This is a basic dynamic warm up to get players ready for practices and games.
Set Up
Divide players into two lines. Create two running lanes with cones set up 15-30 yards apart. For large teams this warm-up can be done with more than two lines.
How It Works
Players perform dynamic locomotions to the cone and back. Another variation is where players perform the dynamic locomotions down and jog back. For more on dynamic locomotions and other dynamic warm-up variations, check out the soccer warm-up guide.
Coaching Points
This warm-up can be player lead once they learn the locomotions. Often times captains can lead a general dynamic warm-up before practice starts so that all of the players are ready to go when training begins.
Very helpful whike preparing for practise session.
